All because two people fell in love...

Our story begins back in 2006. Jeff and I both loved country dancing with a passion. Trolley Square was the place to be at on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We never missed a night if we could help it and we would dance from 8-1 non-stop... I'm sure we danced on countless occasions but my first real memory of us together was at a huge conference dance that we went to. I remember being so impressed by his strength and dancing skills. He could do lifts and I remember wanting him to lift me so I could show-off how well I knew the lifts and moves he was doing. So we started dancing and things were going all too well... I loved hearing people cheering for how well we were doing and somehow we got to much momentum because of me of coarse... ;) and as we were doing a lift called the candle stick he couldn't grip me as I was coming down and I fell flat on my back, straight onto hard tile. Yikes! He felt so bad... I was kind of hurting but didn't want to show it because of how embarrassed I was, so I tried as hard as I could to just brush it off and told him I was okay. Somehow I managed to get through the night with a smile but man was I sore. It didn't stop us from dancing though... my next real good memory I have of us was on my birthday! After dancing at 1 in the morning, Jeff got the courage to ask me for my number. I of coarse gave it to him and we started chatting... He found out it was my Birthday and asked if he could take me to get some dessert to celebrate, so his friend Matt came with us and we met up at village inn at 1:30 or so in the morning for a slice of Key Lime pie... :)
